Kevino Martin
I started playing the trumpet when I was 3 years old. I come from a family of musicians, my dad is a trumpeter, my mom is a clarinetist and my sister is also a trumpeter. My first teachers were my mom and dad.
At the age of 6 I went to study music at the Fundación de Música Brass Band del Ecuador, where I developed as a trumpeter and learned about all my musical studies. I had the opportunity to travel the world and visit some countries from all the continents in which I have given musical concerts. In this institution I had Lic. Jorge Pachacama as a teacher who, in addition to being the director of the institution, was my teacher during my musical career. I had as part of my learning subjects such as: piano. Music theory, orchestral music, metal wind quintets among others. Thanks to my musical career I have been able to get to know some countries, within which I met many teachers, classmates and also countless new musical experiences.
I joined the musical group Mariachi Flor de Azalea, in which I worked as Musical Director. I have worked as a music teacher and have also been part of groups of Latin tropical music and classical chamber music.
I have given concerts in America, Europe and Oceania. Today I live in Canada fulfilling my dream of continuing to progress and building a better future day by day.
